Shmiras Hasdorim,
built for yeshivah.

Home screen

Mobile-first attendance app built for the way frum schools actually run their day.

Why we built it

Most attendance apps were built for public schools. A bell rings, a teacher clicks, the day is logged. That isn't how a yeshivah runs.

A yeshivah day has sedorim — early, mid-morning, afternoon, night. There are excuses that need a parent and a mashgiach. There are late slips that mean something. There are grades that aren't just numbers.

Shmiras Hasdorim is shaped around the way frum schools actually run — not the way generic software pretends they do.

— From a mashgiach, two roshei yeshiva, and a developer who got tired of spreadsheets.
Inside the app

A few tools — shaped to the day.

A few tools, each one built around what mashgichim and teachers actually do.

One

Mark a seder in minutes.

Open the app — the active class is ready to mark. Tap one mark, on to the next. Each marked student slides down to "marked" so you only see who's left.

And to the left you see the last 4 classes — late streaks, absences, and excused patterns at a glance. No need to leave the marking screen for reports.

Two

Late math & excuses, on autopilot.

Tap "late" — the app counts the minutes from when class started. Tap "excuse" — pick a rule (ongoing, weekly, or by date range) and the app applies it forever, counting the time correctly.

Optional: enable students to submit their own excuse requests for staff approval. Every excuse follows the same flow — submitted, reviewed, approved, attached to the talmid's record.

Three

Reports parents actually read.

Clean, simple PDFs auto-sent on your schedule — weekly, monthly, or custom range. Parents see their child's attendance at a glance, in English, Hebrew, or Spanish.

Short enough to read on the way home from work. Detailed enough to start a conversation if there's something to talk about.

The rest of it

Quiet features that add up.

Schedule that fits

Friday Seder ends early? Chanuka has a different schedule?

Set per-weekday or per-date overrides — the app handles cron, late minutes, and reports automatically.

Built around your shiurim

Tag talmidim by shiur, chabura, or any custom group.

Assign markers and teachers to a tag — each one only sees and marks their own students.

Grades & tests

Track scores per subject and semester.

Students see their own. Menahelim and menahalos see the whole picture.

Auto-absent + late streaks

Unmarked at the end of class? Marked Absent, automatically.

No chasing forgotten records, no manual cleanup. The app also flags 3-day late streaks so you see the pattern before it becomes a habit.

Three languages

English. עברית. Español.

Switch per user. Reports go home in the language each family actually reads.

Works on iPhone, iPad, and any browser. Same data, same login — no app to install.
